During this unit I have learned a lot about drugs. Before studying about drugs, the only kind of drug I have known were marijuana, cocaine and heroine. After learning this I got to learn a lot more about all the different kinds of drugs and all the harmful effects from those drugs. The drug that fascinated me the most in this unit was LSD. Out of all the drugs we have went over such as marijuana, cocaine, crack, heroine, weed, LSD, prescribed medication, ecstasy and lots more, the effect of LSD was interesting. I knew certain drugs can make you go high, and get sick, but I never thought hallucination would be possible with drugs. It was crazy how we humans could make medication to make our brain get fried up. In taking drugs, there is no way of using them correctly, however you use it, it is not the right thing to do. From the movie clips during school, people say, “If I can go back in time, I’ll never take drugs again.” “I wish I have never done it that first time,social acceptance wasn't wort it,the girl wasn’t worth it ““It turns off so simple, turns into a night mare.”. As these people say drugs are something they never would have done if they knew what would happen afterwards. When one starts off with drugs, they will first try because of curiosity, or maybe even because of they are near their friends and they are pressured to take them. This is called their initial use, if they stop after the initial use, it won't cause much damage. However, drugs were not made to be stopped after the first use. Some of them such as cocaine are highly addictive, causing them to want more and seeking for another time to take the drugs. This is called the preoccupation. After this happens they will use the drugs regularly, which will lead up to dependence. When one is dependent on chemical, there life will turn miserable, and it will end up to be a failure. If they had a nice career, they will lose it. If they had money, they will lose as some of these such as cocaine are highly addictive and very expensive.

I have no intentions to take drugs in my life. Even if I am pressured by my friends I will stay off of it. After viewing the drugs, drugs looked even more disgusting than before. I learned so much, and know I have the strength to say no even if I am pressured. Also, I will never take drugs of my curiosity because, I am not interested at all. Since I have learned what drugs will do in my life I can promise myself that I will not be related with drugs.
